IV. The Frim Skywalk Experience

We arrived at Frim Skywalk bright and early at 8 am to catch the first slot at 8.30 am, which is highly recommended for a more enjoyable and photo-worthy experience. We were joined by only a handful of other visitors, making it a perfect time for us to explore the skywalk. Although there was a slight delay, the staff was apologetic and quickly escorted us to the starting point of the skywalk.

The walk towards the skywalk was an experience in itself, surrounded by lush greenery and natural habitats. As we approached the starting point, the sight of the sky bridge above our heads left us in awe. The staff gave us a brief history of the skywalk and necessary safety precautions before we were ready to take on the adventure.

The skywalk is a marvel of modern engineering, made up of 11 towers and 8 bridges ranging from 18 m to 50 m high, and a total length of 250 m. Once we stepped onto the skywalk, we had about 30 to 40 minutes to complete the loop while taking in the breathtaking views.

As it had rained the day before, the stairs leading up to the bridge were a bit slippery. We had to climb them with caution, using the handles for support. Walking on the bridge was a thrilling experience, with the aluminum structure swaying slightly with every step we took. Just remember to be careful and not to play around as the fence on the bridge isn’t very high.

V. The Frim Skywalk 50 meters tower

One of the unique features of the Frim Skywalk is the 50-meter-high tower, which offers an even more spectacular view of the forest below. As you make your way to the top, you’ll feel your heart racing with anticipation, and the views from the top are nothing short of stunning.

God, the Frim Skywalk 50-meter tower is something else! I climbed up so many steps that I honestly lost count. But, let me tell you, it was worth it! The best part is that only two people are allowed on the platform at a time. And guess what? There was no one else there, so my friends and I had all the time in the world to take in the stunning views from the top. It’s a thrilling experience that’s not to be missed for any outdoor adventure enthusiast.

As we wrapped up our adventure at the Frim Skywalk tower, we headed towards the exit route, feeling exhilarated from the entire experience. And the best part? The ticket price was very affordable at only rm47 (for 2 people) which includes parking fees and the entry fee to Kepong Botanic Garden! It was truly an incredible way to get close to nature and experience the thrill of the skywalk.
